Khi nộp hồ sơ xin visa định cư tay nghề Úc diện tính điểm di trú (Points Tested Skilled Migration), bạn bắt buộc phải có thẩm định tay nghề hợp lệ cho ngành nghề trong danh sách được chỉ định.
Thẩm định tay nghề là gì?
Thẩm định tay nghề là quy trình được thực hiện bởi một cơ quan đánh giá tay nghề nhằm kiểm tra bằng cấp, kinh nghiệm làm việc và trình độ chuyên môn của bạn để xem bạn có đủ điều kiện để làm việc trong ngành nghề đó tại Úc hay không.
Khi nào cần thẩm định tay nghề?
Bạn bắt buộc phải nộp thẩm định tay nghề hợp lệ khi xin visa diện tính điểm di trú.
Bạn chỉ được coi là đủ điều kiện khi cung cấp kết quả thẩm định đúng cơ quan, đúng loại, và còn hiệu lực (hiệu lực tối đa 3 năm hoặc đến ngày hết hạn ghi trên giấy chứng nhận).
Visa 485 và đánh giá tay nghề tạm thời
Nếu bạn là sinh viên quốc tế vừa tốt nghiệp tại Úc và muốn xin visa 485, bạn có thể nộp đơn thẩm định tay nghề tạm thời (provisional/subclass 485 skills assessment). Loại này không yêu cầu kinh nghiệm làm việc ở trình độ tay nghề, và không được dùng cho visa định cư theo diện tính điểm.
Trường hợp đặc biệt: Bác sĩ và luật sư
- Đối với bác sĩ, chứng chỉ hành nghề đầy đủ từ Cơ quan Quản lý Hành nghề Y tế Úc (AHPRA) được coi là thẩm định tay nghề hợp lệ.
- Đối với luật sư, giấy chứng nhận đại diện pháp lý tại tiểu bang/vùng lãnh thổ có thể được coi là hợp lệ.
Ai sẽ đánh giá tay nghề cho bạn?
Các cơ quan thẩm định tay nghề là những đơn vị chuyên môn có nhiệm vụ kiểm tra bằng cấp, trình độ và kinh nghiệm làm việc đối với từng ngành nghề cụ thể.
Danh sách nghề được chỉ định chia theo nhóm nghề, mỗi nhóm nghề sẽ có một hoặc nhiều cơ quan thẩm định riêng. Bạn cần tự tìm hiểu và liên hệ với cơ quan thẩm định phù hợp để thực hiện đánh giá tay nghề.
Điều kiện xin thẩm định tay nghề
Để được đánh giá đạt tay nghề, phần lớn các cơ quan sẽ yêu cầu bạn có bằng cấp sau trung học như đại học hoặc cao đẳng nghề. Trong một số ngành nghề, nếu bạn không có bằng cấp chính quy, kinh nghiệm làm việc thực tế lâu năm và có liên quan vẫn có thể được xem xét thay thế. Mỗi cơ quan thẩm định sẽ có tiêu chí riêng cho từng ngành cụ thể, vì vậy bạn nên tham khảo kỹ yêu cầu từ phía cơ quan đánh giá.
Thẩm định tay nghề nộp EOI
Trước khi nộp Expression of Interest (EOI), bạn có thể nộp nhiều đơn thẩm định tay nghề với nhiều cơ quan khác nhau. Tuy nhiên, bạn chỉ được chọn một ngành nghề để đề cử trong EOI. Sau khi nhận được thư mời nộp visa, bạn không thể thay đổi ngành nghề đã chọn.
